Why “Incrys”?

Honestly, it’s just a name I made up in high school that I happen to still like.  Reading George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire encouraged the habit.  In keeping with the fantasy flavour of the series, Martin occasionally uses mild alterations of conventional names, such as Alesander, and in more cases completely original names, such as Daenerys.  As an highly impressionable 14-year-old, I latched onto the idea and made up my own collection of names.  Incrys was the shortest, and for whatever reason, I was proudest of it.  Just imagine my dismay when I discovered I wasn’t as original was I thought once a Google search turned up various IT websites.

If that isn’t interesting enough, tough noogies.  It’s the truth.  If I ever get into online gaming, I’ll use it as my alias.
